I want to install a older version of windows on my HP 14s-dq0000 Laptop PC. Older than windows 7. So i enabled legacy mode, but i dont know what im doing.. I have a bootable usb, ready to make, i dont know if legacy mode is GPT OR MBR, my pc usuallly in GPT.
How do i use legacy bios mode and install older version of windows, older than 7?
EDIT: 3:47 PM EDT: everytime i turn legacy mode on, and turn secure boot, and when i boot from usb, it either gives a black screen, says USB disk partition scheme is wrong.. Or installation starts and "installs the os" but doesnt actually install the OS.
EDIT: 4:41 PM EDT: Will someone respond and answer please?
Thanks,
Evan D

Make the USB Drive Work with Legacy BIOS
You may refer to this guide: HP PCs - Create and use a Microsoft recovery USB flash drive | HP® Support
Set BIOS to Legacy Mode
Restart your laptop.
Press Esc or F10 (to enter BIOS).
Find Boot Options or Boot Configuration.
Set Boot Mode to Legacy (not UEFI).
Disable Secure Boot.
Save and exit.
Boot from USB and Install Windows
Plug the bootable USB into the laptop.
Restart, and press Esc or F9 to choose the USB as the boot device.
The Windows installation should start.
