DK-P, thanks for the reply... I found that, on a HP Pavilion dv4-2155dx at least, it is was easier to just unplug the CMOS battery for > 5 minutes and just clear/reset the BIOS to defaults.

Unplug the Power Adapter/Battery Charger, Remove the main battery, Open WAN access cover, unplug CMOS battery.

Leave unplugged for > 5 minutes, reconnect CMOS battery, Replace main Battery, connect Power Adapter.

Password is now completely cleared and BIOS setting are reset to factory defaults.

This seems to be the best way to make sure that if other settings were changed (by whomever set the Password, maybe maliciously) all settings would be back to factory defaults.

Hopefully this will help others who find the code(s) do not work...
