am having trouble with my BIOS and i need a pass reset code, i'm also the rightfull owner of the pc

Well, I can certainly try to assist you.

 

Please enter an incorrect BIOS password three times. The notebook should then display a System Disabled or halt code (for example, an 8-digit number or an alphanumeric code).

 

Please post only that code (do not post your serial number or any personal information).

 

Also let me know:

 

  • The exact HP model number (or Product Number).
  • Whether this is a BIOS Administrator Password, Power-On Password, or DriveLock/Hard Drive Password.

 

Once you provide the System Disabled code and the model, I can determine whether a reset code is available or recommend the appropriate recovery procedure.
