I thought the issue was solved ,however I see on the battery icon it still sometimes says "plugged in but not charging." If I remove the battery and put it back in, It says that it is charging.
Could it be that the battery is just not excepting a charge ? It is a couple of years old now. I just didn't know if it was a Bios update that was needed,as I saw where some people said that may be an issue, but also that the notebook pc would not power on after a Bios update.I also don't know what Bios I have and if I need an update. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks So Much

I have the exact same issue. But I want to validate that the BIOS I am running is the right version. How can I validate that?
It appears that the BIOS upgrade worked fine, but still showing in HP Support Assistant.
It also appears that there are no options available to contact HP support for this either via phone or chat. Is there a number of online chat with HP that anyone knows of?
