HP 15-bs190nd
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My laptop does not charge anymore. I put in the plug and it stays at the same percentage but never increases the power percentage.

I already did many things to solve it:

1. unplugged the battery according to the tips I found her

2. runned the HP diagnostic programm for the adaptor and the battery and they both passed

3. replaced the battery for a brand new one

4. checked 3 different power adaptors

Very scary because II can never take it of the adaptor because I will loose battery percentage and can not get it back....

Now someone says it is my "moederbord" (mother board) that is broken, but the laptop is only 2 year and 2 months old?

Checking the laptop will cost me €30. I cannot find information on this problem anywhere.... so I don't know what to do.

How big is the chance that these symptoms indeed indicate a mother board problem?

I do hope someone can help me out. Thanks in advance!!

@Berriq Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that you are facing issues with battery charging.

In that case, I would suggets you contact our phone support and check for the support option. They will;l help you.

Or you can contact the local service center for repair.

Here is how you can get in touch with phone support.

1)Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

We are experiencing longer than expected wait times to reach an agent due to the CoViD-19 impact and there might have been issues in you getting the expected resolution on the issue.
