You would have to buy a new battery, put it into the laptop, and then see if it charges.
If you don't have the HP part number, you can use the HP link below and your PC information to determine the part number:

You will have to do an online search to see if anyone carries it and will ship it to you. We have no inventory of suppliers and the parts they carry.
IF you are unsure of the quality of any part you order online, then make to to verify that the seller will provide a full refund if you return it for any reason.
HP does not do work on out of warranty products, so you would have to find a repair place that is willing to fix it -- and we have no way of knowing how much they will charge you -- but do not be surprised if that cost exceeds that of simply replacing the computer. So, be sure to get an estimate before you commit to having the work done.
