@DAK9,

Try this:

Type cmd in your Windows search bar.

Then right-click on the Command prompt App and left-click on Run as administrator.

Copy/paste: sfc /scannow and hit enter.

This may take a little while to complete.

Once completed, copy/paste: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth and hit enter.

This will also take a little while to complete.

Once completed, type in: exit and enter.

Now follow these steps:

@DAK9,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

Here is a link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_2268927-1713329-16, to show you how to calibrate and test your battery, specifically: "Test the battery using HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (preferred method)". It should fix the issue.

-DID all you suggested, nothing removed message. Gave up. Got new battery with HP logo on it.  All messages gone and all works well.  Thanks.

@DAK9,

Sorry to hear that you needed a new HP-logo labeled battery to get rid of the message...

In a perfect world -but I digress.

Good luck to you,
