Hello. I need help with a bios boot error, ACPI BIOS Error after Windows 11 update. I have tried the bios recovery multiple times with no luck. According to the HP website there are no bios to download to make a recovery file to use the USB method. Where do I go from here?

Hi @HeatherJP
Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.
If you're experiencing an ACPI BIOS Error during startup after updating to Windows 11 on your HP Pavilion Notebook (17-g113cl), and BIOS recovery attempts have been unsuccessful, consider the following steps:
Perform a Hard Reset:
- Turn off the laptop and disconnect all peripherals.
- Unplug the power adapter and remove the battery (if possible).
- Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds to discharge any residual power.
- Reconnect the battery, plug in the power adapter, and try starting the laptop.
Update Drivers:
- Boot into Windows if possible and ensure all drivers, especially chipset and graphics drivers, are up-to-date.
- Use the HP Support Assistant or Windows Update to check for and install any available driver updates.
BIOS Update via HP Support Assistant:
- If the BIOS update isn't available for download, check HP Support Assistant for automatic updates.
- Open HP Support Assistant and select "Updates."
- Check for available BIOS updates and proceed if any are found.
Run Windows Troubleshooters:
- Go to "Settings" > "System" > "Troubleshoot" > "Other troubleshooters."
- Run available troubleshooters that relate to power and startup issues.
Reset BIOS Settings to Default:
- Enter BIOS setup during startup by pressing the appropriate key (often F10 or Esc).
- Navigate to the “Exit” section and select “Restore Defaults” or “Load Setup Defaults.”
- Save changes and exit.
Safe Mode Verification:
- Boot into Safe Mode to isolate the problem.
- If the system boots into Safe Mode, perform a clean boot by disabling all startup services except Microsoft services to test for conflicts.
Roll Back Windows Update:
- If possible, consider rolling back to a previous version of Windows before the update, especially if the problem started right after the update.
- Go to "Settings" > "Update & Security" > "Recovery" and select "Go back to previous version."
