Probook 655 G3

Hello

I recently bought an off lease laptop and was trying to upgrade the BIOS.  I can't as it is locked.  How does one reset the bios?  Most boards indicate reaching out to the manufacturer for a bios flash file or something to that effect.  Please help.

HP may remove BIOS and power on passwords via a service of the computer. You can contact HP Support to set this up. Options vary depending on location and warranty status (Service fee may apply). You will have to  contact HP Support  for assistance on removing the password.
