HP Pavilion Notebook - 17-g151no

Hi,

I have replaced the old HDD with an SSD. When I install the AMD drivers for the APU, Windows crashes with a blue screen.

From what I’ve read, a BIOS update might help. Since the laptop is quite old, I understand that drivers and BIOS files may no longer be available on the support page.

Could you provide me with a link to the latest BIOS for this computer? I also need the ACPI driver.

Hi:

HP has retired driver support for your notebook.

What BIOS version does your notebook have installed now?

The latest BIOS update I could find for your notebook is F.45.

Info link:

Exe link:

Install the AMD chipset drivers from the link below for the motherboard drivers.

Select the driver for the operating system you are running:

870 Drivers

Hi,

Thanks! It turns out I was already running the latest BIOS.
I should have realized that ACPI is part of the chipset—my mistake.
