compaq cq61
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hello friends! I am having problems with my compaq cq 61 210sr laptop. He, like the entire line of models, had a Bios failure. If someone can give a link to the latest bios file I would be very grateful.
Best wishes from Ukraine.

Hi:

Here is the exe link to the last BIOS update HP released for your notebook:

Info: F.23

- Fixes an issue where moving or clicking a USB mouse that is attached to the
notebook during the Power-On Self-Test (POST) prevents the system from booting.

- Fixes an intermittent issue that may result in an unexpected behavior, where
the system stops responding (hangs) or a memory page fault is generated. This
issue only occurs with 64-bit operating systems

Hi:

I can give you the link to the last BIOS update HP released for your notebook, but it was only meant to be run using Windows 7.

If you run the update in Windows 10 it may permanently wreck your notebook.

I can't find any specs on your notebook.  Does it have an Intel or AMD processor?

If you can't get into Windows, you will need to know how to extract the raw BIOS file out of the exe file I post.

Windows 7 will do.
Specs - Intel Pentium Dual Core T4200

Hi, again:

For some reason, the link I posted doesn't work when you click on it, so I have zipped up and attached the exe file below.
