I have had this laptop for 3 weeks now and 2 days ago it suddenly took more than 5 min to start up which is unacceptable for a device with NVME SSD. And from next time onwards the screen just started going black after logging in.I cant tell what exactly is wrong. I restored my pc twice each dating further back in time. It did not help and now I am just updating some software through HP assistant. Let's see what happens.
But I also saw a bug where my touch screen was showing as it is being tapped consistently at the bottom corner.
I love Hp but someone gimme more technical advice, please. I really do not wish to reset the whole PC. Hopefully, the problem is solved. Even my 4-year-old pavilion never gave me such a problem

Thx for the quick response. I did that after reading other similar problems on the forum and my hp spectre still reacted in the same manner as before. It took 5-10 min to show screen normally.
I guess i will just wait for windows or HP to release a patch .
Thx mate. If u find someting new just update 🙂

This is a Windows Update issue. Wait 5-10 minutes for the desktop screen to appear
Right click the windows start button and click on "Run".
- in the Run box type services.msc and click ok
- look for App Readiness in the list
- double-click it, and you'll have the Properties dialogue
- change Manual to Disabled and then OK
- restart the laptop
