HP ENVY x360 Convert 15-ed1503TX (50R76PA)

This laptop was brought to me getting a BSOD...

I had to remove the SSD to recover the files first

I entered the Bitlocker key

But the SSD didn't show any files?

For some reason now I get the 5 long and 3 short on the caps lock key

I can't see that anything I've done would've caused this

I've tried all the resets I read online

Windows key and B key does nothing

Removed everything and reseated etc

Unfortunately out of warranty

Any ideas on what I can try

@G3orge169

Please try a hard reset and see if it works.

  •    Power off your notebook,
  •    Remove the a/c adapter, battery and everything that is attached to your notebook,
  •    Hold the 'POWER' button down on your notebook for about 10 seconds,
  •    Plug in the a/c power supply (without battery) and power on.

Regards.

Hey banhien,

I wish it was that simple...

I'm a tech guy myself and just about tried everything I can find and nothing has helped

Normally what you suggest fixes so many

So I'm trying on behalf of my customer to try and fix the issue.

Out of warranty

I'm hoping HP will come to the table and look at this issue
