@PAC86, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Blue Screen Error 0xc000000f on HP Laptop!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your HP laptop displays a blue screen with the error code 0xc000000f, it indicates a problem with the boot configuration. To fix this issue, follow these steps:

Check for Loose Connections:

  • Ensure that all cables and peripherals are securely connected.
  • If you recently added any hardware or replaced any component, make sure it is properly seated.

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Turn off your laptop.
  • Disconnect all external devices like printers, scanners, and external hard drives (keep the mouse, keyboard, and monitor connected).
  • Unplug the power adapter.
  • Press and hold the power button for approximately 15 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power adapter and turn on your device to see if it boots correctly.

Use HP Recovery Tools:

  • If your laptop has HP Recovery Manager, use it to perform a system recovery. You may need a recovery media created previously.
  • For systems with HP Sure Recover, use it to restore the OS image.

Microsoft System Restore:

  • If Windows starts, use System Restore to revert your computer to a state prior to the error.
  • In the Windows search bar, type "Create a restore point" and select it.
  • Under the System Protection tab, use System Restore to restore your computer to an earlier time.

Use Boot Repair Tools:

  • Use Windows installation media or recovery media to boot your laptop.
  • Select "Repair your computer" from the setup screen.
  • Choose "Troubleshoot" > "Advanced Options" > "Startup Repair" to let Windows fix boot errors.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
