Blue screen of death : System scan at raised IRQL caught improper driver unload. What failed : klif.sys
I've spent the past 8 hours reading through the forums and have lost the will to live. Please help.
I have hp spectre windows 11 with blue stopscan error.
At first I managed to load up F5 safemode which was meant to let me have internet connection. All of a sudden the entire safemode has now crashed.
Everytime I load it I enter my password and the screen is normal. The second I enter password it logs in and screen is black and flashing... Although now it just goes pitch black.
Majority of help seems to involve deleting apps or updating drivers but I can't do any of this !!!!
I can't even do a system reset!
Non of the repair options work ... Even the hp ones.
What the hell do I do ?

Hi,
Try performing a fast system test and see if there are any hardware errors
Turn off the PC by holding the power button until complete shutdown.
Turn on the PC and repeatedly press ESC until startup menu appears.
Press F2 to enter diagnostics.
Try performing the system test and see if there are any failure ids.
You could create a bootable USB drive with the OS on it from Microsoft and try repairing, resetting or reinstalling the OS
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
or create a USB using HP cloud recovery on another PC

It seems to be a problem with Kaspersky driver installed on your machine'?
you can uninstall if you could get in in safe mode using this tool
https://support.kaspersky.com/common/uninstall/1464
Hope it helps,
David

Thanks for responding.
I did the F2 and all searches and it came back with no errors. I think it is KASPERSKY virus protection that's caused this.
The issue I have is I can't even access safe mode F5. It loads up ..asks for my pin...and then the screen goes black and starts flashing. I can just about call up task manager but nothing seems to fix it.
It's weird because when this first happened today it let me into the safemode . It seems to of got worse.
I can't even delete Kaspersky because I can't get into safemode without it crashing.
I've spent 10 hours trying to work this out .
Have you any ideas ?
