I recently upgraded my laptop to windows 10 and I cannot use bluetooth anymore. When I go to device manager the bluetooth section is no longer there like it was before. Are there any drivers I can install to fix the issue?

Hi:
It sounds like the bluetooth was turned off during the upgrade to W10, via the HP wireless assistant software.
See if this works...it would be the easiest way to get the BT radio to reappear in the device manager.
Make a bootable Ubuntu installer. You don't need to install Ubuntu on the hard drive, just run it from the installer to turn on the bluetooth (try ubuntu without installing).

The only other way to get the BT to show up would be to go back to the OS you were using before upgrading to W10, turn on the bluetooth with the HP Wireless Assistant software, uninstall the software, restart the PC, verify the BT is still turned on and then reinstall W10.

Hi:
No. The BT is fine.
The HP Wireless Assistant and the HP connection manager are odd programs.
If any wireless device was turned off and the operating system reinstalled, then you can't turn the device back on unless that software is reinstalled.
The problem with your situation is, neither app will install or work on W8, 8.1 or W10, so you have to install XP, Vista or W7 and then install the HP wireless assistant software to enable the wireless devices again.
However you can do the same thing by making an Ubuntu installer and turning on the bluetooth that way.
