You're giving us NO useful information! This mobile device, is it Apple or Android? Is it a phone or a tablet or Ipad?
When you go into Settings, BLuetooth and devices on your laptop, do you see the mobile device listed in the devices?
Your mobile device has to be in Pairing mode when you do this, have you confirmed that to be the case?
