HP Notebook - 15-bs289wm
Microsoft Windows 11

My laptop was working fine. Went to bed and woke up in the afternoon turn it on, and it has been a never ending trial and errors trying to get it to boot windows.

Prevailing message I keep on getting is

"Boot Device Not Found"

"Please install an operating system on your hard disk."

"Hard Disk (3FO)

"F2. System Diagnostics"

For more information, please visit: www.hp.com/go/tech enter/startup.

I have been caught in a never ending loop. Can anyone assist me with this problem, please.

Hi, @Nirvana_95!

I'm having the SAME exact booting/hard drive issue and am stuck in the same loop.

One minute I'll just get a black screen telling me "Boot Drive Not Found" and to "Install Operating System". Then I get also get "Hard Disk 2 (302)"

Then, once in a blue moon the laptop will randomly just say "SMART failure" and just offer me "Press Enter to Continue Startup" and then it does. It's been on and off over the last several days, but tonight for some reason, it just won't give.

I KNOW for a FACT that it ISN'T the actual hard drive because I had actually copied over all my files onto a BRAND NEW hard drive and the SAME EXACT thing happens. I do not have a Windows 10 disk or USB to reinstall and my backup laptop is only running Windows 7.

So here are some notations. I sure hope that you can help me as well! I have so much other stuff to get done this weekend!
