Simple problem as described in the subject. There must be a simple solution, please help.

It may not be that simple.

You need to have installed the graphics driver and Intel chipset driver in order for the brightness to be adjusted.

If you have done that, then the only suggestion I can offer would be to install the W11 Hotkey support software that enables the Fn keys:

Ok, thank you for your reply. I must say that I'm a COMPLETE noob, unfortunately. Could you provide me with links for the needed drivers? I'm pretty sure I already have the UWP hotkey support installed, and I tried to restart that and didn't fix anything. I did update all my windows stuff, don't know if I have to update what you said manually... I hope you can help me some more. Thanks man.

Sorry, me again, must admit I am embarrassed and sorry for wasting your time, you don't have to do this but I am trying on my part. First problem - I went to support site for my laptop and in order for it to show me the drivers available for my laptop, I need to select which Windows I have. And I have Windows 11 version 24H2. It's only offering to select:

1. Windows 11

2. Windows 11 version 21H2 (64-bit)

3. Windows 11 version 22H2 (64-bit)

I hope that after this step I will be able to download the drivers needed, but which version do I select? I don't want to make any mistakes.

Hi:

You can download the latest drivers under the W11 22H2 driver section.

For the graphics you need to know what model graphics adapter your notebook has (Intel only or AMD/Intel switchable graphics).

For example, if your notebook only has the Intel graphics, install the latest Intel graphics driver listed.

If it has the AMD/Intel graphics, install the latest Intel and AMD graphics drivers listed.
