Thank you. Ur awe
some but what do i do about not having another pc to make a system restore disk or image file to reset windows. It says no operating system installed. Plz help. It contains no cd rom.

You're very welcome.

 

You should be able to order a recovery kit from HP from the link below for your notebook.

Normally when I see these links, it indicates how many DVD's are included in the kit, so your model may get the usb flash drive kit.

 

Or if you are given the option choose the USB kit.

 

Make sure you recover your PC from the USB 2 port.
