Example: Pavilion 15-dk0005 gaming
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently bought an hp pavilion 15 gaming and i noticed an fps drop while gaming whenever i plugged in my charger, the game runs fine whenever its on battery but lags when plugged in. I also noticed that the cpu speed drops from 3.5GHz to 0.5GHz when plugged in. I even ordered a new AC adaptor but that didnt change a thing, i thought my port must be damaged but i got it checked and it was fine. I updated my drivers as well as my bios but it didnt seem to fix the issue. I tweaked with the power management settings as well and it didnt help. Please help me out here.
