Product: pavilion dv7-3085dx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

My laptop manufacturer provided me with the Original Windows 7 Home Premium. The product key is on the Microsoft sticker below the laptop, but the key has been erased.

 

Can I use serial of my laptop to get it back?

Hi:

 

HP keeps no records of any Windows product keys issued.

 

If you have an original HP recovery disk set, you won't need the product key to reinstall Windows.

 

The software is pre-activated and knows it is being installed on a qualifying PC.

 

If you just have a plain W7 installation disk, you will need the product key and no one can help you with that.

 

You can still order the HP recovery kit for your notebook from this vendor at the link below...
