I have been trying to get Windows 11 to reinstall on a 15-dy1043dx laptop. Windows updates were failing. Windows reset did not work. So, I created installation media, then completely deleted all of the partitions, then formatted the SSD. Even after doing that, it still will not install. The processor is a 10th generation, so nothing special should be required. Is it possible that the SSD is failing? I am trying it once more, and it is currently at about 15% on Getting files ready for installation, and it shows an error (0xC0000005 - Verify that the installation sources are accessible and restart the installation).
It copied all of the installation files from the flash drive just fine. Any guidance will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The issue was being caused by a bad stick of RAM. The offending stick was from Adata (I have actually had one of their SSDs fail recently). I pulled the faulty stick out and Windows installed without any problems. It is running updates as I type this.

Try making a bootable USB recovery drive with the HP cloud recovery tool which you can use to reinstall Windows, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.
Here is an info link for how to use the utility. You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive for this>
HP Consumer PCs - Using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool in Windows 11 and 10 | HP® Support
You can download the software from the Microsoft Store:
HP Cloud Recovery Tool - Free download and install on Windows | Microsoft Store
Since you will have to use the software on another Windows PC as your notebook is not working, you will have to enter your notebook's product number in the tool's search window in order to proceed to make the recovery drive.
Your notebook's product number is 192L0UA#ABA

I don't actually want all of the stuff that HP included originally. However, it wasn't any of the suggested fixes - it had a bad stick of RAM. I have not run into that in many years. This time it was a stick from Adata. I pulled that out, then Windows installed without issue.
