Every time I try to on my computer when I try to do the hp clould recovery tool I go through the steps and when I plug the usb drive into my laptop and do the steps when it tries to start it say no hdd

Hi,

Can you firs try running HP diagnostics on the system and see if there are any hardware failures. There could be a problem with the hard drive.

Turn off the PC by holding the power button. Turn on PC and continously keep pressing ESC until startup menu appears and then press F2 to enter diagnostics. Try the fast test, or at least the hard drive test.

See if there are any hardware errors.
