Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The harddrive on my laptop died over a year ago.  I went online, found the ONLY harddrive that is listed as compatible with my laptop.  I installed the drive, but Windows will not load.  It gets to the end and says there is a file missing.  I posted this problem nearly a year ago and the only reply I got told me to install windows from the web.  Well, if I can't get the laptop working to get it online, I can't install Windows from the web.  So if anyone has had this issue and has a REAL fix that actually works, I'd appreciate it.  I now have 4 HPs and NONE OF THEM WORK.  I buy them because HP used to have a good reputation.  Sadly, that doesn't seem to be the case any longer.
