Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

I have been trying all morning to factory reset my laptop 

 

I want to remove all my data from it as i am trying to sell it - but am being constantly met with a message saying unable to reset no changes have been made.

 

I have searched various forums and tried pretty much everything at this point - including recovery manager, trouble shooting literally everything 

 

Please help im about to tear my hair out

Hi:

 

The only suggestion I can offer would be to use the HP cloud recovery tool to make a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.

If that works, you can provide the recovery media to the new owner.
