I am trying to update my BIOS to version F.32 ver. A. I have downloaded the BIOS update files from HP website. During the installation process, the setup shows error about insufficient space on disk and to delete some files. It is to be noted that I have about 60 GB of free space on my C drive. Please help me update my BIOS.

See the post below for a workaround. The author had the same error, created a bios update usb drive and updated bios by running the usb drive via Firmware Management on F2 HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI. Click the link in his first post and go to the section "Updating the BIOS Manually from a USB Flash Drive (outside of Windows)" for detailed instructions. If you have any problems, let me know.

@rafodb123,

HP laptops come with PC Hardware Diag's UEFI with Firmware Management preinstalled to a hard drive. Did you replace the hard drive/SSD drive? What version of the Diag's UEFI do you have?

HP Recommended

I did not replace the SSD drive. The version of Diag's UEFI is 10.1.0
