Hi, community.
I have a huge problem with my OMEN.
I plugged my secondary screen into the HDMI, and the laptop does not send a signal, and the screen does not recognize the laptop. I have also plugged through a dock station in a USB port, and does not work either.
However, if I plug the HDMI into the Dock station and I plug the Dock station into the laptop through the USB-C, and the laptop recognizes the screen. The problem with the USB-C port is that I use it to charge the laptop, and I only have one USB-C port.
Any Help, please

Your machine should have following specs
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_6340519-6340563-16
It has following ports
(3) USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports; 5 Gbps signaling rate (one on the left side)
Left USB port supports HP Sleep & Charge.
(1) USB4™ with Thunderbolt™ Gen 4 Type-C port; 40 Gbps signaling rate (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge)
(1) Mini DisplayPort 1.4
(1) HDMI 2.1 port
(1) RJ-45 Ethernet port
(1) Headphone/microphone combo port
(1) AC Smart pin adapter plug
Have you tried mini Display Port above ? A direch cable miniDP to HDMI should work. I am using following cable for my Omen machine
https://www.comsol.com.au/MD-HDMI-020
They have few different lengths
Regards.
