Hi.
I have a **problem but a little harder to get by since my laptop screen is broken and I can't make it detect and external display before loading the BIOS.
So I tried to set everything up following the menu and options guideline according to this post https://support.hp.com/ee-en/product/hp-1000-1400-notebook-pc-series/5375425/model/5388245/document/...
and tried to change the boot order options for legacy and uefi boot options.
the thing is a blind shot... so If I could get the full menu for the bios I'm using on my hp 1000-1422la. I'd probably have a beter chance of making it boot into system. I can't afford a new screen or have a techie friend. Thanks

Thank you for posting your query on HP Community,
Tap away at the esc key as soon as you press the power button to enter the Start-up Menu and then select the Bios Menu ( f10 ).
Under the System Configuration tab, expand the Boot Options Menu.
You need to set Secure Boot to Disabled and Legacy Devices to Enabled.
When done, press f10 and select to save the changes.
You may then have to enter a 4 digit pin displayed on the screen to confirm the setting changes - enter the code ( there will be no graphical display of the numbers you enter ) and hit enter.
In this scenario, I would suggest here is to go through this support document for - HP PCs - Secure Boot (Windows 😎
Let me know how it goes for further assistance.
