HP Chromebook x360 - 14-da0011dx
Chrome OS

The Chrome OS crashed randomly about 2 months ago on my now 7-month-old HP Chromebook x360 and needed to be fully reinstalled (the OS was "missing or damaged", even after hard resets).  I was able to be recover it using the Chrome OS recovery process.  Then it crashed again a few weeks ago.  It took a few tries until it randomly was able to be recovered (it ran into unexpected errors the first few attempts).  Then about a week later, it crashed again.  Now I can no longer recover it as it runs into unspecified "unexpected errors" during the recovering attempts.  I've tried a few different flash drives but still run into the unexpected errors.

Hitting tab on the crash screen gives the following information:

"recovery_reason:  0x5b / 0x5b  No bootable kernel found on disk"

Any recommendations on next steps for me?  Is this likely a hardware issue?  Let me know if any additional information would be helpful.  Thanks all for your insight!
