Chromebook OS EOL

When will the OS on this Chromebook reach end of life support: HP 14-aK060nr ? This model does not appear on any of the lists provided by HP or by Google for EOL. Please advise.

Did you read the policy ? Which says

Policy

• Every Chrome device receives regular updates from Google until it reaches its Auto Update Expiration (“AUE”) date, listed below, subject to support from component manufacturers. When a device reaches AUE, automatic software updates from Google will no longer be provided.

• Chrome devices that have not reached their AUE date will continue to receive OS updates and function with Chrome Education Upgrade and Chrome Enterprise Upgrade. After the AUE date is reached, existing and future policies may not work as intended, and technical support will not be provided.

• Google will publish a model’s AUE date on this page after its release, giving buyers time to make purchase decisions. Please check the AUE date when making a purchasing decision.

Thank you for the information and the link, but I have read all of that some time ago. As this particular HP Chromebook is not listed on that page and it is not running the Chrome Education Upgrade or Chrome Enterprise Upgrade I still have no idea when this Chromebook will reach the end of updates.  I had hoped to be able to give the owner some idea of when he will need to purchase a new computer (yes, I do understand it will continue to function). It did complete an update when I selected the option, but that was 2 months ago now.

I take it nobody from HP monitors these forums. Let me ask this question:

Will the user get some sort of pop-up warning BEFORE it reaches EOL ? So he will have at least a little time to replace the computer ?
