HP Chromebook mod#7265 NGW

Well... i purchased this Chromebook back in i believe June of 2018. I purchased it for my daughter to use for school after her laptop screen broke. I purchased this HP product because of the name and this particular Chromebook was recommended by a family member.  i am not to happy with what has happened. Not even quite 2 years old, and it will not charge or power up at all. I had my daughter try the hard boot with no response. She bought a new charger and that has not helped. So i figured i would check the warranty status, and it states expired. So unless you get the extended warranty, your Chromebook will not last more than 2 years? I noticed the 3 month manufacturer warranty. Well this will be the last HP product I purchase because 1, now it is nothing more than a paper weight and 2, a company as well known as HP only offers this minimal warranty on their products, Says a lot. i have always bought Dell and this was my first and last HP purchase.   Does anybody have any suggestions on how to fix this issue ? I would greatly appreciate any help.
