Hi there, I’m trying to clean my mothers computer (she passed away a few years ago), to give it away or take to a recycling centre. I do t remember her password though. What can I do? Thanks, Lynne

I see you are looking to run Recovery on the HP 1000-1410AU Notebook PC.

 

I have a few recommendations 

 

  • You can do Recovery from F11. Click on this link for HP System Recovery https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c02638587
  • The HP Cloud Recovery Tool allows you to download recovery software to a USB drive. You can use the downloaded recovery image file in order to install the Windows operating system.
