Hi @Jayzyrinelegasp,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
The screen in the photo shows a CMOS Checksum / CMOS Reset (502) error. This usually indicates that the BIOS settings or CMOS data are not being read correctly.
Let’s try the following steps in order:
1. Perform a CMOS reset using Windows + V
- Turn the computer completely off.
- Connect the AC adapter.
- Press and hold Windows + V.
- While holding the keys, press and hold the Power button for about 2–3 seconds.
- Release the Power button but continue holding Windows + V.
- Continue until you see a CMOS reset message or hear beeps.
- If prompted, press Enter and allow the computer to restart.
2. Try BIOS Recovery
If the 502 error returns:
- Turn the computer off.
- Connect the AC adapter.
- Press and hold Windows + B.
- While holding the keys, press the Power button for about 2–3 seconds, then release it.
- Continue holding Windows + B for several seconds.
- If the HP BIOS Update/Recovery screen appears, allow the recovery process to complete.
On some HP notebook models, Windows + V is used for BIOS recovery instead, so if Windows + B does not bring up the recovery screen, try the Windows + V combination again.
3. Run HP Hardware Diagnostics
If the 502 error continues:
- Turn the computer off.
- Turn it on and immediately press Esc repeatedly.
- From the Startup Menu, press F2.
- Select System Tests and run the Fast Test.
- If the Fast Test passes, run the Extensive Test.
- If available, also check the Memory, Storage, and System Board tests.
If any test fails, note the Failure ID shown by the diagnostic. That code will help determine the next step.
If the CMOS reset and BIOS recovery do not resolve the 502 error, and especially if the hardware diagnostics report a failure, the computer may require further hardware service.
If you can share the exact HP model/product number and the Failure ID (if the hardware test reports one), we can narrow down the correct next step.

I hope this helps.
Take care and have an amazing day!
