HP 3105m
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

When I press esc to enter command prompt and press f4 for Hard Disk Test It says                   Primary Hard Disk Self Test

 Quick Test

 Hard Disk 1 Fault

 Primary Hard Disk Self Test

 Full Test

 Hard Disk 1 Fault

 Smart check

Hard Disk Smart Passed.

What does all this means? The Computer just keeps restarting itself when it hits a blue screen saying something along the lines of my computer had a bad shutdown and will restart itself

What are my options? *Note:The Laptop doesn’t have a disk drive*

Hi

First:- Turn off the computer, press and hold the PWR button for 4 seconds.

Then - Leave only keyboard and mouse connected, disconnect all externally connected
devices such as Docking Station, USB storage devices, displays, and printers.
Unplug the AC adapter from the computer.

Next - Press and Hold the Power button for 15 seconds to Hard Reset.
Rinse and Repeat

AND/OR - Power on your PC, press Esc (repeatedly), then F2 at the prompt.
Choose System Tests (Fast Test does a 4 minute hardware check).

If in doubt please ask.

Thanks for the suggestion first of all but I did those steps, ran the “Start-up Test” . The memory test passed but the quick test failed. Says “Hard Disk 1 Fault......” then smart check “Hard Disk Smart Passed”. I’ve been trying to get it to start up in safe mode with no success. Any other suggestions would be great because I’m about to give up.

Hi

Stupid me..

""What are my options? *Note:The Laptop doesn’t have a disk drive*""

Asking you to test the drive when it doesn't have one.

Buy a Hard Disk Drive.

Install it and then install an operatng system.
