Probook 440 G5

My fairly new laptop is not turning on now but was working fine 2 days ago. The screen and fan are not turning on but the light on the power button is flashing on & off. I have had it plugged in for over an hour but it has not changed anything.

Does anyone have any advice on how to get it to turn back on?

This is an HP Probook 440 G5 with an intel core I 5 8th gen

thanks

Hi,

Is there some kind of sequence to the flashing? (a blink code)

You could try performing a power reset and see if it helps. Here is link to HP support page showing how to perform this:

Hope it helps,

David
