@1PIPIE, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I’m sorry to hear your HP 15-fd0000 laptop is stuck in a restart loop, I understand how frustrating that can be. Let’s walk through a few steps to help resolve this issue.

Disable Automatic Restart

This will allow you to see any error messages (blue screen codes) that might help diagnose the issue.

  • Press Windows + S and search for View advanced system settings.
  • Under Startup and Recovery, click Settings.
  • Uncheck Automatically restart under System failure.
  • Click OK and restart your laptop.

Run HP Hardware Diagnostics

Check for hardware issues like memory or hard drive failures.

  • Turn off the laptop.
  • Press the power button and immediately press Esc repeatedly until the Startup Menu appears.
  • Press F2 to open HP PC Hardware Diagnostics.
  • Run System Tests (especially Memory and Hard Drive).

Update BIOS and Drivers

Outdated BIOS or drivers can cause instability.

  • Open HP Support Assistant (search in Windows).
  • Go to Updates and install all recommended updates.
  • If not installed, download it from HP Support Assistant. HP Support Assistant | HP® Support

Check for Overheating

Overheating can trigger auto shutdowns.

  • Ensure vents are clean and unobstructed.
  • Use the laptop on a hard, flat surface.
  • Consider using a cooling pad.

Reset Windows (if needed)

If the issue persists, consider resetting Windows. Back up your data first.

  • Go to Settings > System > Recovery.
  • Under Reset this PC, choose Keep my files or Remove everything
