I'm looking to create/download some kind of disk/drive  that I could boot with to get the PC back to original setup if there was a problem.

Hi, Sherry:

 

See if your notebook is supported by the HP cloud recovery tool and use that to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.

 

Here is an info link for how to use that utility...

You're very welcome.

 

Hopefully, HP has uploaded the recovery files for your notebook since it is so new.

 

When I bought mine, I could not create the recovery drive until a couple months after I got it.
