Hello
I have seen various answers to this.
What exactly is the SW Setup folder on my C Drive and can I safely delete it - as it is taking up almost 5 GB of space.
Should I back it up? I presume yes is always a good idea.
Will new apps/files/folders be created that need to go into the SW Setup?
Can I move it to the D Drive (which is also pushing being filled up)?
Thanks
Andrew

SW Setup folder normally contains all downloaded drivers, software for your machine from HP. Deleting it won't harm your machine. You need it ONLY when rebuild your machine OFFLINE.
You can back it up and keep elsewhere if you wish.
