Try these steps:

1. Ensure Both Devices are Powered On:

2. Check Wireless Network:

  • Make sure both the printer and notebook are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

3. Restart Devices:

  • Restart both the printer and notebook.
  • Turn the printer off and then on again.
  • Restart your ASUS notebook.

4. Update Printer and notebook Drivers:

  • Go to the HP DeskJet 4100e Support Page.
  • Download and install the latest printer drivers compatible with Windows 11.
  • Ensure your ASUS notebook has the latest drivers. Visit the ASUS support page to download and install the latest network drivers.

5. Re-connect Printer to Wi-Fi:

  • On the printer’s control panel, go to Settings > Network Setup > Wireless Settings.
  • Use the Wireless Setup Wizard to reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.

6. Check Printer Status:

  • Ensure the printer is set as the default printer on your ASUS notebook.
  • Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
  • Right-click on the HP DeskJet 4100e > Set as Default Printer.

7. Use HP Smart App:

  • Download the HP Smart App on your ASUS notebook.
  • Use the app to manage the printer, run setup, and troubleshoot any issues.

8. Run HP Print and Scan Doctor:

9. Re-install Printer:

  • Uninstall the printer drivers from your ASUS notebook.
  • Visit the HP DeskJet 4100e support page to download and install the latest drivers.
  • Follow the instructions to re-install the drivers and set up the printer again.

I hope this helps.
