We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
1. Ensure Both Devices are Powered On:
- Ensure that the HP DeskJet 4100e printer and ASUS notebook are properly powered on.
2. Check Wireless Network:
- Make sure both the printer and notebook are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
3. Restart Devices:
- Restart both the printer and notebook.
- Turn the printer off and then on again.
- Restart your ASUS notebook.
4. Update Printer and notebook Drivers:
- Go to the HP DeskJet 4100e Support Page.
- Download and install the latest printer drivers compatible with Windows 11.
- Ensure your ASUS notebook has the latest drivers. Visit the ASUS support page to download and install the latest network drivers.
5. Re-connect Printer to Wi-Fi:
- On the printer’s control panel, go to Settings > Network Setup > Wireless Settings.
- Use the Wireless Setup Wizard to reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
6. Check Printer Status:
- Ensure the printer is set as the default printer on your ASUS notebook.
- Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
- Right-click on the HP DeskJet 4100e > Set as Default Printer.
7. Use HP Smart App:
- Download the HP Smart App on your ASUS notebook.
- Use the app to manage the printer, run setup, and troubleshoot any issues.
8. Run HP Print and Scan Doctor:
- Download and run HP Print and Scan Doctor.
- Use the tool to diagnose and fix connection issues.
9. Re-install Printer:
- Uninstall the printer drivers from your ASUS notebook.
- Visit the HP DeskJet 4100e support page to download and install the latest drivers.
- Follow the instructions to re-install the drivers and set up the printer again.
