Yes, you will need a converted (if you are not from UK or not from Europe).

The converter/standart for UK is one type, for US is different, for most EU countries is 3rd type

There are ones for UK, for EU, or World (mixed)

I am not aware of HP selling charging adapters. HP does sell chargers in UK but these are very expensive (a lot more expensive than just getting an adapter).

With regards to adapters - there are plenty of options and vendors (cheap and expensive) you can choose from, such as sold in hotels in UK, sometimes in the airports, etc. but SKROSS are with good quality and popular.
