Hi,
As you have signs of a failing HDD, I'd suggest removing the drive and then try entering the code 20644114 with the HDD absent.

From the 3f0 error it appears your hard drive has crashed/failed and will need to be replaced. It is likely what set the flag for a password. I'm not 100% sure if it will clear pw or allow in if you remove the hard drive but that is where I would start. Remove it and then try to get into BIOS by tapping away at the F10 key immediately after powering on. If you get in you can't do much else until you replace hard drive and install Windows but at least you will know the laptop is not permanently disabled by password.

Hi,
In that case, check the following.
1. The halt code ( 95966192 ) that you've posted is definetely correct.
2. Shut down the notebook, unplug the AC Adapter and then remove the battery. Hold down the Power button for 30 seconds. Plug in the AC Adapter ( leave the battery out for the moment ), start the notebook and try entering the code again.
3. Try entering the code via an external usb QWERTY keyboard.

Hi,
You're welcome
Given the appearance of a power on password and the 3fO error, it does look like you'll need to replace the HDD - if you need a link to the Maintenance & Service guide, post back with the full Model No. and Product No. of your g6 series notebook - see Here for a guide on locating this information.
