HP EliteBook 2570p Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR)
Microsoft Windows 11

After having Win 11 Pro on refurbished (by seller) HP Elite Book 2570p, I just recently got the message that "System requirements not met. Go to settings to learn more." I've backed up all my personal data files, so I want to go back to Win 10 Pro, using re-installation media. Can an in-place downgrade be done, or is a clean install absolutely necessary?

Hi:

if more than 10 days has elapsed since W11 was installed, you will need to clean install W10.
