Hi  @yai82001

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that the HP True Vision camera and integrated microphones are missing after the screen replacement. Kindly confirm  whether the camera appears in Device Manager, and whether the Camera app shows an error code.

A separate Windows 11 camera driver is not listed on the HP support page for this model. The camera normally uses a compatible driver installed through Windows.

Kindly try the following:

  1. Press the camera privacy key, or Fn + camera key, to enable the camera.
  2. Open Device Manager > View > Show hidden devices.
  3. Check Cameras, Imaging devices, and Other devices.
  4. Select Action > Scan for hardware changes.
  5. If the camera appears, uninstall it and restart the laptop.
  6. Open Settings > Windows Update > Advanced options > Optional updates and install available driver updates.
  7. Run HP Support Assistant and install all recommended chipset, BIOS, audio, and graphics updates.

Refer to the official HP webcam troubleshooting document - click here .

The camera and microphones are part of the display assembly. If neither device appears in Device Manager, the camera module or its internal cable may need to be checked by the service center that replaced the screen.

I hope this helps.
