Hi:
I have zipped up and attached the driver you need below.
Download and unzip the file to its folder.
Do not do anything with the files in the folder.
Go to the device manager and click on the ASD device needing the driver.
Click on the driver tab.
Click on Update Driver.
Select the Browse my computer for driver software option and browse to the driver folder you unzipped.
Make sure the Include Subfolders box is checked, and the driver should install.
Then reboot.

Hello there,
I have Pavilion DV6-6047 cl. I have upgraded to windows 10. I have the same problem and was searching the KB and found this thread. Downloaded the zip file and tried to update the driver. The driver was not updated. I got a message "Windows was unable to install your Unknown device. Windows could not find driver software for your device. If you know the manufacturer of your device, you can visit its website and check the support section for driver software"
What driver is it? Please help to fix this.
Thank you in advance.

Hi, @pmahapatra :
This is probably the driver you need for the unknown device you have...
This package provides the HP 3D DriveGuard software for supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system. HP 3D DriveGuard protects the hard drive by "parking the heads" if the notebook is accidentally dropped or is abruptly impacted by another object.
