It appears that HP has retired support for your PC.
That's why you can't find any drivers for it on the HP support site.
We are currently not allowed to post links to third party driver sites.
However, I don't see anything improper with letting you know that the DriversCollection.com website has the drivers for your PC.
I use the site all the time and the drivers are legitimate and virus free.
Just do a search '15-p144nl driverscollection' and you will be able to find the drivers HP used to supply.
There is more than one model Wi-Fi driver on that website and I don't know what model Wi-Fi adapter your notebook came with.
When a Wi-Fi adapter needs a driver, there will be a device listed in the device manager labeled as a Network Controller (Controllore di rete).
If you post the hardware ID for the Network controller device, I will post the link to the latest Wi-Fi driver HP has for it.
Use this guide for how to find the hardware ID for a device:
How to Find Drivers for Unknown Devices in the Device Manager

Thank you very much for your reply and for the very useful link, which, however, sounds to be not too easy to manage, for the limits of time and for the limit of number of downloads.
However, with a little patience, I'll do.
Ciao,
Ruggero

Hi, Paul!
The network controller list following devices:
PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4365&SUBSYS_2230103C&REV_01
PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4365&SUBSYS_2230103C
PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4365&CC_028000
PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4365&CC_0280
I tried to do by myself, but had no success.
BTW I downloaded and installed some drivers contained in the site Driverscollection, but none of them was useful.
Thank you for tour patience 🙂
