Hello, I've recently swapped a screen in hp pavilion
15-CW1598SA. It worked fine for a couple weeks then I ran the antivirus it blue screened.
Then it wouldn't load into window's , displayed no hardrive,
So I tryed the ssd in reader nothing dead.
I brought a new ssd, downloaded the hp recovery tool then attempted to reload the image . It displays administrator as if going to load on the desktop then changes to restarting, then restarts then blue screens. The Recovery fails just gets stuck and displays driver power state failure.
All the advice ,explains its power, its drivers ,settings etc but I cant get on the laptop to change anthing.
Please help im struggling 😪 .....
Also removed battery nothing, reseated ram in either slots nothing, its not getting hot or overloading.
So I'm Lost.... been on 2 weeks solid nothing.

Hi, thanks for the response, sorry took a while reply the hp laptop i have, Has a fixed battery inside which requires taking the back panel off and manually removing.
Watching your videos you attached the correct method for my laptop is to disconnect the ac power and hold the power button for 15 seconds and then reastablish the ac power. I tryed that and after 4 hours of the recovery tool being active its blue screened.(Drive Power Faliure)again.
Please understand this is a new Hdd where I'm trying to copy the hp image loaded threw hp cloud recovery on a new USB storage device.
I cannot login into safe mode, I cannot login on to the desktop , due to it keeps blue screening before the recovery has change to complete.
The only settings I can change is via bios , or if I load repair my computer via a copy a separate of windows. The windows installation media does not offer any recovery options
I've even gone to the extreme off unplugging everything from the motherboard board also memory interchanged aswell. And had it connected to the TV via hdmi and still blue screens.
Is there anything in bios I can try.
Or any command prompt if i load the windows installation on repair. Then swap over to the hp recovery tool media.
Thanks.. look forward to hearing from you.
