Hi,
Shutdown the notebook by holding down the power button for 10 seconds.
Tap away at the esc key as you start the notebook to launch the Start-up Menu and then select f10 to enter the bios menu. Press f9 to load the defaults ( this is sometimes f5, but the menu at the bottom will show the correct key ), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and hit enter. Press f10 to save the setting and again use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and hit enter.
If it still isn't loading, shutdown the notebook again.
Tap away at the esc key as you start the notebook to enter the Start-up Menu. Select the Diagnostic Menu option ( f2 ) and run the tests on the Hard Drive and Memory.
Post back with the results, including any error codes that may be generated.

Did the F10/F9/F10 - and I got the same page as before:
Boot Device not found
Please install an operating system on your hard disk
hard disk (3F0)
F2 System Diagnostics
then went the F2 route:
Ran Memory test:
Memory Quick Check: PASSED

[Back to Main Menu]
and the Hard drive test - got this response:
this system uses a flash device for primary storage.
to test this flash device, please install the HP UEFI Support Enviroment

Hi,
I trying to open my HP Steam 7 then there's a it requires Admin Password or Power on Password. I'd tried to enter 0000 and 9999, its not working then a error popup "System Disabled 78765239". Please help me with this issue. Thanks
