HP Notebook - 15-db0031nr
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP Laptop already broke once on December 15, 2018 and I sent it in and got the hard drive replaced. I received the computer back on January 4, and it was working fine up until today, when it stopped working again from what seems like a completely different array of problems. I've gotten several error messages, one saying there was an issue with the Operating System missing, one said there was no detectable hard drive on the computer, and the current message has the following:

Default Boot Device Missing or Boot Failed

Insert Recovery Media and Hit any Key

Then Select 'Boot Manager' to choose a new Boot Device or to Boot Recovery Media

Do you have any suggestions on how I might fix this myself, or do I need to send it back in again, or completely scrap the computer and go to a different brand? Because I'm getting quite tired of losing all my data and files everytime this computer gives out on me.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
