Did that comprehensive never goes past 10 percent and s.m.a.r.t keeps repeating #3 test

does not change my analysis....I assume you get this error instead of the laptop booting up? 

 

You can check the hard drive by tapping esc and then F2 as you power up and find component tests...test the hard drive...long test.
